Over 8,000 49ers fans had a chance to get ready for the upcoming season at the 2007 49ers Family Day at Monster Park.

The day included autographs by players, cheerleaders and 49ers alumni; interactive games; Punt Pass and Kick competitions; football skills events hosted by 49ers players; contests and prizes; tours of the 49ers locker room; Football 101 conducted by former 49ers Gary Plummer and Dave Fiore; and special performances by the 49ers Gold Rush and Niner Noise. The highlight of the day was a special appearance by Head Coach, Mike Nolan, who answered fans’ questions and signed autographs. Tina Campos headed up the e2k Sports production team with support from the entire e2k Sports staff.

RealNetworks at Digital Hollywood

e2k produced a keynote address and reception for RealNetworks at this year’s Digital Hollywood conference in Santa Monica. The presentation by Real CEO, Rob Glaser, demonstrated the company’s new Real Player that enables users to download video from various web sites, and then, manage and send on the information.  The post-keynote party was attended by over 500 attendees, focused on the expanding world of digital media.

e2k produced a 50’s Sock Hop for Chalone Vineyards’ Founder’s Celebration. Over 500 guest enjoyed a wonderful selection of fine wines and food along with greasers and pink ladies; roller skating waiters, a soda shop, hot rods, and hot 50’s bands. The event was produced by Shannon Smartt and Lorie Murphy.

South Beach Style

Last weekend, in cooperation with long-time associate Cathy Dangler, e2k produced the entertainment for a Reno Summer Celebration “South Beach Style.” The event featured musical entertainment by the San Francisco-based Latin Jazz band “Son de Cuba,” performances and salsa lessons by the Rica Salsa Dance Company, a parade of showgirls, and a special appearance by the United States National Synchronized Swim Team. The event was produced by Cathy Dangler. Entertainment produced and directed by Trisha Ricci and Lorie Murphy.

  • Michael Olmstead joined a Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee contingent attending the 2007 Senior Games in Louisville.  The Bay Area will be hosting the 2009 Games that are expected to attract 15,000 athletes, ages 50 and above.
  • e2k Sports is pleased to welcome Jaime Edmonson to our full-time team as the new Associate Director of the 49ers Gold Rush.  A former member of the Miami Dophins Cheerleaders, Jaime has had over six years of experience in professional cheerleading, performing in shows in sixteen countries.  She has already been very involved in the production of the Gold Rush calendar and other promotional materials.
Coming Up:
  • On July 14, the top 30 finalists who submitted anthem applications will be competing for a chance to perform the Star Spangled Banner at a San Francisco 49ers game! Auditions are open to the public and will take place from 2:00 - 5:00 PM behind the carousel at Pier 39. For more information, contact Katie Doherty at Katie@e2k.com.
  • The dates for this year's San Francisco 49ers Junior Gold Rush Program have been confirmed. The Junior Cheerleader clinics will be held Sept 29th and Oct 6th and the performance will at the 49ers game on Oct 7th.
