Friday, December 4th saw e2k organizing another Holiday bash for the Bay Area Microsoft team. 1200 Partygoers took part in a “101 California Road trip” celebrating the great diversity and individuality of the State.
Starting the journey outside LA with Tacos and Mariachi the road led onwards to the Oregon border with notable tasting opportunities along the way. Wine tasting stops were in San Luis Obispo and Sonoma, with beers from two Micro Breweries, Anderson Valley and Mendocino Brewery. Also on the menu, a Hog Island oyster bar, cheese tasting from Point Reyes, Cowgirl Creamery & Cypress Grove and San Francisco’s own Tamale Lady.
Entertainment followed the theme of individuality with “roadside” performances from the Squeezebox Goddess, Garrick Sherrod on saxophone, The Acapulco Mariachi Trio, Ian Ross painting and acoustic Guitar from Josh Seidenfield at the ‘campsite’.
Things heated up with the opening of the ‘Sunset Boulevard’ Club, with DJ Gordo and our Hollywood dancers.
