Nine years ago, when e2k first produced the Monster Awards Show and Concert in Las Vegas, Monster Cable was primarily known for their high-end cables and connectors. Today, the Brisbane company is known for its trendy headphones that are seen on the hottest entertainment and sports stars. Today, Monster (sans Cable) is stronger than ever and has positioned itself in the center of the entertainment industry.
In keeping with the tradition of honoring popular music legends, this year’s show featured a concert by Chicago. While the group is not showing up on the Top 40 charts, the Paris ballroom was packed with over 4,000 guests who rocked out to one familiar hit after another. The awards show featured a powerful presentation with Monster founder and CEO, Noel Lee, in support of Segs4Vets, and organization that provides Segways to military veterans who have lost the use of their legs.
The show was directed by Michael Olmstead. Mike Brady served as the Technical Director along with After Party TD, Tony Norris. Trisha Ricci, David Gil, Shannon Ellis and Sophie Biffar managed the overall event production and artist coordination.
