XQ Civil Rights

Working with XQ Institute, the Harry Belafonte Foundation and Spike Lee, e2k produced a historic event in New York to honor the civil rights leaders of the past and create a cross-generational dialogue on the civil right of education.

The event included original theatrical pieces and performances by Aloe Blacc, Leon Bridges, Quest Love, and interpretive dancer, Jon Boogs. The event also launched a collaborative effort to create a historical photo book and an on-line school curriculum to teach civil rights. The two day celebration and symposium utilized historical video to create an emotional context for the programming.
