The Center of Super Bowl City

Working in collaboration with the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, SAP, the City of San Francisco and the National Football League, e2k designed and produced the feature activation in the center of Super Bowl City. The Fan Energy Zone electrified Justin Herman Plaza for 10 days leading up to the game, during which time an estimated 1.1 million people experienced the free-to-the-public experience. Inside the Fan Dome, attendees competed by playing all-original, state-of-the-art motion capture and virtual reality games. The Fan Stage featured nonstop entertainment, local celebrity DJs, and pep rallies for the Panthers and the Broncos. And the adjacent 50-foot wide, high-resolution LED Fan Wall displayed more than 200 pieces of original content, including rich motion graphics, stats and data visualizations, social media metrics, and video messages from Michelle Obama and Cam Newton.
